EU ,the EURO crisis and the plan to form North American Union.

Monday, 11 June 2012 - 12:24 AM SL Time

The North American Union (NAU) is a theoretical economic union, in some instances also a political union, of Canada, Mexico, and the United States. While the concept can be viewed as loosely based on the European Union, occasionally including a common currency called the Amero or the North American Dollar, the union of the North American continent, and beyond that to Central and South America, has been the subject of academic concepts for over a century. One reason that it has not become a major subject of discussion is individual development in each region that failed to prioritize a larger union.

tigress, you live in a different world.

This NAU already exists. It is called NAFTA and it is over 15 years old.

Anyway, as the european Union did not work for non-english speaking or non-white countries, NAFTA is also working for CANADA and USA. That is again US is always overpowering Canada.

For Mexico, NAFTA has not worked very much.

NAU wanted to make an economic union, only when their citizens buying power could not accellerate the economy. Even then, it looks, It has not worked for Mexico.

In Europe, Iceland, not a EURO country, when bnkrupt long ago. After that Greece, Ireland, Portugal went belly up.

Now Spain.

Next will be Italy.

Britain and France will survive because of the loot they have from colonies.

Their major export is Weapons. As long as they can make war in the world, they survive.
