The graveness of the crimes being committed in the country today has increased, says Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
He accused media of unnecessarily publicizing to these crimes and in doing so benefiting the external forces against Sri Lanka.

Good point you bring up there, however I wish that you didn't have refer to peoples linage to make a point here. The point I would like to make is that, if this guy had 8 million stolen from his house, the last person he'd call is the police don't you think, especially if this money is hot.. I'm sure someone who's got that kind of money laying around would have other methods of recovery.. wink.. wink..
I doubt this ever really happened at all, or if it did, not in the same way its being reported here.. Anyway who wants to bet this figure will be 10 million by next week.
