Writers on Sri lanka and historians have mentioned the existance of four distinct clans in Sri Lanka the Deva clan, The Naaga clan the Yaksha and the Raksha clan.

Is this guy for real ? Tamils are Tamils, may it be, in Sri Lanka, or in India.

let me guess, all spoke tamil right...and for 3000 years didnt change a bit from tamils in tamilnadu excepet for mere dialect difference..lol

But they lived there prior to Vijaya. That's the whole point.
Of course, everybody came from India. Our ancestors could not have swam directly from East Africa, or could they ??

I do not know for the others, but I can relate Naaga to Tamils. |

thats the whole point isnt it, we r not claiming to be the abroginies like tamils with their fabrications..what we merely say is that sihalse r the one who built the civilization in this island...current tamils are just resent migrants who havnt contributed anything other than destruction

Naagas capital is Nagapatinam, AdiSesa was instrumental in establishing the city, but not quiet sure about the language. |

Jaffna is referenced as Naga theevu (or naga nadu) in Tamil literature. There are a wide range of evidences.
