(Lanka-e-News-06.June.2012, 11.00PM) Sarath Fonseka who was released from prison subject to conditions is being lured into discussions along with three MPs of his party with a view to taking them into the Govt. on a package deal, according to inside sources of the Govt.

The same sources say like how discussions were held for the release of Fonseka , via the DNA M. P. Tiran Alles, talks are again in progress in this direction keeping this mum from the Parliament .

May we recall that it was Lanka e news that revealed for the first time the secret discussions of Alles with the Govt. last year.

While the series of discussions were being held, suddenly Alles took ill on his birthday, 3rd of June and he was Hospitalized. The President too being abroad had stalled the discussions temporarily, it is learnt.

Meanwhile , according to Fonseka , he became aware that he had been released sans voting rights only after he came out from prison. MPs, Alles and Jayantha Ketegoda who moved in this matter to get Fonseka released openly said , following the media exposure of Fonseka s conditional release , that Alles will be holding discussions again with the President to restore all his rights what Fonseka has been deprived of.

Former international wing leader and chief arms procurer of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP has said that some Tamil Nadu politicians were making adverse comments to mislead the Tamil Diaspora.

He has noted that Karunanidhi should look at ways of finding a solution to the issues faced by the Tamils in Sri Lanka if he is genuinely interested in the well-being of Sri Lankan Tamils.

He has added that Karunanidhi when demanding a separate state for Sri Lankan Tamils should understand that the Tamils in Sri Lanka have paid a heavy price for the struggle they launched to create a separate state.

'Tamil Nadu politicians Karunanidhi, Vaiko, Nedumaran and Thirumavalan want the Sri Lankan Tamil problems to go on so that they can survive politically. They have also misled the Tamil Diaspora by their meaningless speeches and comments,' Pathmanathan has said.

According to Pathmanathan, a separate state is not a solution to the Sri Lankan Tamils' problem.

He has noted that the people in the North wanted peace since the war had ruined their lives for three decades.
