Who is looking for a sword to be a life time KING?

May 26, Colombo: Sri Lanka's Marxist party Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) says that ancient artifacts have gone missing due to political leaders who believe in myths.


JVP parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake has said that ancient swords from the National Museum have gone missing due to this reason.


Two monks were killed, by an order.

He has told parliament that there was a myth that the person who possessed the sword of King Dutugemunu would hold special powers.

He has added that it is believed that the person who possessed the sword could rule the country forever.
