Even British called Tamil kovil as Temple. Let people call kovi as toilet who cares?

Good to learn that you are not threatening and that is a good sign of learning what human right is and freedom of expression is. So people are changing. Why do you label all Sinhalayas as modayas. If you are a modaya that is ok but you have no right to label others as modaya. By the way in the US you are living together with other communities so no need for your assurances. OR by any chance are you planning to come back to your My Country for good leaving behind the US ? If it happened the valid reason is their calling for prayer would definitely going to upset the peace loving animals in the zoo.
So to keep animals in peace we have to relocate Mosque.
But as far as I know there is no mosque near the zoo.

The mosque was located at Gal vihara para.
I agree these mosques are a nuisance in many ways. Noise pollution, road blocks on fridays and perhaps a seat of trouble brewing.
But sadly even pansalas nowadays put up people from sleep by using loudspeakers to chant bana.
Religion is something personal and it should be confined to the places of worship or homes without disturbing others
Even Vel festival too is a nuisance to many people.
Don't bring religion into the streets.
Also leave alone the roundabouts!
Vesak of course I liked those days because it is a good outing and plenty of chances of playing around with sinhala kellos. |

But calling for prayer is not a nuisance for Muslims, 5 % of total population. But It is a nuisance for others 95% total population.
