I did not say these were wrong. If you read carefully, I said 'seemingly' and I am not judging them but they seem wrong practices to me, even those in my own religion. But I have a right to have my own opinion but I will not condemn a religion of someone else.

Animal sacrifice exists in the earliest Vedic texts, but not many Hindu sects practice it.

Embilipitiya High Court Judge P.Ranasinghe ordered five-year imprisonment to a ruling UPFA Pradeshiya Saba member of Thanamalwila, for possessing a large quantity of cannabis in 2003.
Thanamalwila PS member of UPFA, K.V.Chandrasekare was found having 250 kilos of cannabis and the case continued for nine years.
