Answer my question first please, why do you Sinhalese Buddhists want to be the champions of animal rights when yourselves kill and eat animals every single day ?
It's not evasion but hypocrisy. According to Buddhist scriptures, it is not right to kill any living beings, but why do Sinhala Buddhists kill animals ?

Some have evolved some have not. Go to the old testament animal sacrifice was common. Catholics stopped after the comming on Jesus Christ. Hindus and Muslims still do it.
But who are we to judge what is right or wrong. Most of us eat one form of meat or other. |
