You can stop animal sacrifice the day you Sinhalese Buddhists stop killing animals to feed yourself.
Most slaughter houses are not managed by sinhalese buddhists.
I heard Jaffna recently had a ceremony of animal slaughter. I never knew Hindus practice that like Muslims do.

The whole thing should have been controlled from the beginning and I do not agree how the GOSL acted (or not) in this case.
Overall, Sri Lanka, for most part, treat everyone equally. You have freedom of movement, religion, language etc etc.
Remember, when LTTE attacked Anuradhapura, did tamils say anything? |
