UVR Putha,

I never said anything bad about Muslim people or any other. All I am asking is for everyone to stay out of the Cultural Triangle and especially Dambulla. Is that too much to ask?

Can we build a temple in Mecca or one in Vatican City? Likewise, others shouldn't be allowed to do the same in Dambulla.

All i know is that mosque has been there for more than 45 yrs..
no one has the right to remove a place of worship.

well if they didn't want it there they should have made arrangements 45yrs ago not now..

Sinhalese Buddhism has become more like terrorism.

Just because someone prays inside my house doesn't make it a temple. Also, don't forget just because someone has money don't think they can buy land to build Mosques anywhere they want.

Money cannot buy the cultural triangle. You know something yesterday My son called India and spoke to TM Dilshan because they were friends at Bloomfield. Even he agreed that the Dambulla Illegal Mosque should be removed. Then he called Suraj Randhiv and even he agreed that the Mosque should be removed.

So it's only a matter of time. Sooner rather than later, that Watalappan shaped roof has to come down.

Why Women Are Not Allowed in The Mosque

this is a no brainer everyone knows women do pray in Mosques ...however read the special edition of National Geographic Sacred Journeys magazine.. it includes all religions.. and which includes beautiful images and some interesting details of Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism and Judaism.. in some pictures it shows Muslim women praying in a Mosque(cavernous Istiqlal) in Jakarta Indonesia(the largest Mosque in South East asia)... your trying to distort facts about other peoples religions. Most Mosques allow women to go in there.... anyways if you can get your hands on this magazine it will help...

I think it s worth to spend some time searching for the above magazine.. really breath taking pictures inside with interesting facts about peoples faiths(which has all major religions in the world)

AnuD, we are our own worst enemies.
Isn t it obvious, there is an attempt being made to drive a wedge between the Tamil speaking Muslims and the Sinhalese?
