I preferred if the 18 bends stayed there. Because, that was fun and good challenge. I have been on difficult roads.

It is crime to take away the bends which is a beauty. But of course the vehicles that travel along those roads to be in good quality and this is not the case in SL.

It is a Scenic Drive.

Incidentally I am amused at AnuD's mathematics!!

Is he of the same depth on other matters too that he talk of in LNP?

I always felt that he suffered from intermittent state of confusion!

It clearly proved that some people talk abt things without knowing the true situation and the area! Anybody who has driven through that 18 bend road knows very well, that those 18 bends cannot be avoided demolished or take away etc! . Of course You could BYPASS it but the geographical area does not allow for an alternative BYPASS road. The only other alternative is to have a TUNNEL which is NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE! If it is possible then that tunnel would have been one of the wonders out of the 7!

I agree. It was a nice road. However, the sand trucks ruined it. Now it is still a scenic road but much wider. I think this will help the regional economy in many ways. SL is getting good at road construction.

And the guy has the audacity to call others dumb! Go figure!

Why Sri Lankan Law enforcement system is so biased ?

I am almost certain you are not referring to Dambulla but many feel it was so in Dambulla. Here is a Lawyer's view.

The Dambulla mosque episode raises several questions relevant to the country at large. Those who witnessed most of what happened on Television would have observed at least three offences under the Penal Code, namely, Unlawful Assembly, Criminal Intimidation and Criminal Tresspass being committed as well as the Fundamental Right to practice ones religion being violated. What is shocking is that all the offences listed above were committed in the presence of law enforcement officials but no action was taken by them to apprehend the culprits.
