After 35 years of destruction of the country, Sri Lanka is coming back fast without Tamils paying a CENT for the destruction they caused. Besides, the govt has to look after Tamils as well as thousands of Kallathonis who crossed into the country during the LTTE time. |

Tamil - Barbarians living overseas and who funded LTTE don't remember that LTTE stole UN- truck loads of food and Medicine delivered to civilians and LTTE agents SOLD those things to civilians in the BLACK market. |

Milk & honey flowing!
As usual different stories are coming.
IT is a political issue, I suppose, Some politicians (Tamil ?) wanted milk prices to be increased. Govt did not do that.
So, they spilled milk this way.
Those people should be prosecuted. But, I don't think govt will do that. |

Dear sinhalese leaders , please open up your eyes on the
present situation in sri Lanka. While the living cost is increasing day by day with higher inflation, it is time for you all to start finding a reasonable solution for Tamils in Sri Lanka and obtain economic aides from western countries but not from russia or china or even pakistan.they can't give as you wish.
You can't just sing a song in your native language to cheat your own people sinhalese by blocking the whole peace talks. The war is over. Why do you want to keep all your arm forces, confiscating the lands and houses belong to tamils and forcing your people to settle down illegally in the north and east?
Without the western industralised countries, a little island like Sri Lanka can not be developped as you think.
Get together all the sinhalese little or big political parties without having any backward,and primitive ideas to have a common project to solve this ethnic problem.
Don't think that you have really achieve anything out of this war.It is stupid.
By this hikes prices of cooking gas, milk powder,etc you Mr. president pussing this island into deep economic crises.
Even the rich countries are also facing economic prices, but you can't pay wages to 400000 soldiers and half population of Sri Lanka ( bouddhist monks ) freely.
Our children need good food whihc is very important than your arm forces and monks.

A man found guilty over charges of possessing 3 grams of heroin was sentenced to life in prison with hard labour by the Colombo High Court today (May 04), after over 13 years since his arrest.
Look at how strict Srilankan laws against the drug dealers? for 3 grams life sentences. |
