Do you think this kind of things happen only in Sri Lanka? It happens in every country. In UK Queen lives on the courtesy of tax payers money and prince Andrew spends over 400k tax payers money on Air travel for golfing trips. Some of the children of UK MPs as old as 14 who are at school are on their payroll as staff.


IT is very easy for dhobies to make new stories in order to defend their interests.

Evenif you are true, that can be accepted as UK was a developed country and they may have enacted laws to give as much as possible to politicians children.

Sri Lanka is a poor country out of 64 years of independence 40 years or so spent on fighting internal wars.

So, if the leaders of such a country too use the country as their private property that is unbelievable.

Tamils never wanted to be a part of Sri Lanka and always wanted to separate the country, for most part.

Prince Andrew took a private jet, costing taxpayers 4,000, to go skiing on his way home from a conference on Global Warming. He spent the morning discussing the environment at the Ritz Hotel in Madrid, Spain and then, after engagements in Barcelona, he flew to Geneva.


Prince Andrew took to the air for a 112-mile trip in defiance of MPs shocked at his travel expenses. His helicopter journey to Birmingham and Nottingham will probably cost the taxpayer 4,500.

Sri Lanka also does that.

Sri Lankan MPS hire their children, wives, relatives, Rent buildings from relatives, They can send their children for overseas studies on govt money (it does not matter whether the children can pass the exams or not some some fail and come back to sri Lanka to become MPs)

Sri Lankan MPS can get govt contracts in the name of their wives. They run businesses simultaneouly while they are functioning as MPs.

As I said this happens all over the world. The politicians in allover the world do whatever they can & pay any price to be in power.
