Senior Minister DEW Gunasekera yesterday said that the Sri Lankan parliament had pathetically failed in its duty to uphold financial integrity and transparency in the public sector.
Sri Lankam govt tried to fool people by spending everything they had and by importing everything they could.
Now, govt is in trouble. IF there is a big recession in Europe and a war in the middle east country will go belly up.

Who cooked and synthesized charged against SF using fake documents and bribed witnesses? On this day former Commander of Army Gerneral Sarath Fonseka was struggling with death after he was subjected to an attack by a female suicide bomber of the LTTE inside Army Headquarters.

The name of General Sarath Fonseka, who provided military leadership to defeat the LTTE terrorism by killing Prabhakaran who was known as the number one terrorist leader of the world, has been removed from the annals of the Army. The medals he earned for heroic acts he performed by shedding his blood had been taken away from him. His pension has been stopped. General Sarath Fonseka who was the first General appointed under the Chief of Defence Staff Act has become a prisoner and identified by a number and languishing in the Welikada prison.
This is the unpalatable truth today, when we reach six years from the day General Sarath Fonseka escaped from death from the attack of the female bomber of the LTTE and the completion of 3 years of his imprisonment. We have to ask ourselves, whether we have listened to the voice of our conscience as a nation during the past several years. |

Sri Lanka does not work at all like an orthodox buddhist country. It is acting very much close to Bantus in Sub Sharan Africas where only the Jungle law exists.

UNHRC did right thing to impose it's own resolution against Srilanka. What kind of justice can be expected with these 'worst than four legs animals' to minority?
So you support the LTTE diaspora driven resolution. You become a peelamist when you do that? This resolution is about LTTE and nothing else.

Here is the time to show leadership. Quell this before it gets worse. Negotiate a settlement with the Muslim that will respect both religions and can co-exist.

Did ponsaka kill prabakaran???? Even Ponsaka is still crying for the terror leaders who was carrying white flags... let alone killing VP.
The credit goes to Gota and other field commanders(JJ,SS,PS) for killing the LTTE leadership to get the job done. Simple as that.
