This is how muslims treat other religions where they have upper hand.
This happens all over the world in and in every Muslim majority country.
Another bomb blast has rocked the city of Kano, this time inside the premises of Bayero University. About 15 people have been reportedly killed while several others sustained various degrees of injuries in the attacks at St. Stephen Catholic Chaplain, Bayero University, Kano.
The attacks occurred early this morning as Christian worshippers gathered at Theatre Two near Sport Complex, old Campus of the institution.
A witness told AFP news agency the attackers had first thrown in explosives and fired shots, causing a stampede among worshippers . |

This is what muslims do to other religions if the people are of suspected to be converting.
These stories are verycommon from different muslim countries in the world.

To practice your religion you do not need a building full of statues/compound full of trees or any other organic or inorganic matter. None of the current religions practiced are not originated from Sri Lanka. For me religion is something that direct towards way of life and everything else attached around is pure BS. Time to put a stop to all these commercial religion enhancements and let Lankans live in peace.
Theoretically you are correct. But in modern world it's not your or my business to criticize the way of practicing anybody's religion. It's purely individual freedom.
Srilanka is not a country with a single religion( Buddhism only) or single race (Sinhalese only) country. It's multi-religious and multiracial country.
Unfortunately, religion and race are the time bombs or spread easily germs use by greedy politicians to gain power or recoup their lost power and fanatics religious leaders.
We all know, one of the product of racial germ was LTTE. Product of the time bomb was 1983 revolt against innocent Tamils. Did any of those gave anything good for the Srilanka?
I would like you to be be a fair minded person to fight against these type of Time bombs and germs.
The Sri Lankan government ordered a mosque relocated on Sunday after Buddhist monks said the 50-year-old structure had been built illegally in an area sacred to Buddhists and threatened to demolish it.

the decision making side of EVERY FAIR MINDED person depends on how they grew up and believing what ideologies.
SO, In that case, I can say, you don't have any fixed views.
I was grown up as a Buddhist. But, I questioned it and tried to investigate other religions. Now, I know Buddhism is something that needed to be protected from others. |

There are many counter theories concepts in the world., and those exist side by side, at least in the library.
Only in the case of religions, that is also two major middle eastern faiths try to destroy the evidence or existence of other religions. ISLAM is the worst out of both as Christianity is not that extremist. Quran teaches to destroy non-belieivers as well as idols.

The remission given to prisoners for good behaviour would not be applicable to former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka since he was convicted by a military court, Prison Commissioner General P.W. Kodippili said yesterday.

See how Muslims jumped up and down and reacted when one Danish journalist drew a Cartoon of Mahomad and for writing SATANIC versus by the British-Indian Muslim.
Muslims have destroyed many Buddhist statues in the world. Major ones are Bamiyan Buddhas and ones in MAldive Island museum ones.
Don't you think Buddhists deserve to get angry If few of those people who got angry and if they react out of normal, is that abnormal or should not have happened ? |

Some Christins think the same way
No one is born with a religion but yes to a race. Sinhalese Buddhists can convert to be christian and Sinhelese Christians become Buddhists. What do you say about that? |

This is pathetic.
Sri Lankan govt blame every one else saying they discredit Sri Lanka when Sri Lankan govt is the one which discredit Sri Lanka as a orthodox buddhist country as well as country with decent people.
Sri Lankan govt cannot understand that they work and act as primitive Barbarians.
This man almost gave his life and spent all his life to protect Sri Lanka. Now these barberians treat him as A COMMON CRIMINAL when the parliament is full of killers, thieves, criminals and people accused of commercial frauds.
They pretend that every one of 20 million Sri Lankans is brain dead.
