| To practice your religion you do not need a building full of statues/compound full of trees or any other organic or inorganic matter. None of the current religions practiced are not originated from Sri Lanka. For me religion is something that direct towards way of life and everything else attached around is pure BS. Time to put a stop to all these commercial religion enhancements and let Lankans live in peace. |

this is the curse for sri lnakna.... this creature has conveniently forgotten how tamils ruled over the majority during colonial times by licking the a55es of the white masters.... they took the absolute advantage of suddha's divide and rule policy and treated the majority singhalese as second class citizens in their own country....
majority in any country has the democratic right to set the path straight by reversing the minority's unreasonable representation.

GOSL should nip this in the bud sooner than later without bungling the situation.
When the defence chief feels that things / protests are getting out of control and begins to panic, a treatment similar to Chilaw fishermen and Katunayake free trade zone protests is waiting. |

Don't forget that MR's wife is a Catholic and sons have been brought up in christian education at st.Thomas College. Still the SL Buddhists voted for him.

I am referring burning of churches and attacks against mosques. My farm in Vanni is occupied and turned a military complex by Sinhalese army. My mothers tomb laying in the farm. They also erect Bud ha statue in our family deity's temple.Now after Genoa resolution I have hope. One day I will be sad when I remove the Buddha statue from our farm and temple. |

Tamils know they are migrants in Sri Lanka. Muslims know they are migrants in Sri Lanka. Some Christins think the same way.
Sinhala Buddhists are facing reverse discrimination. |

Muslims are not as same as Tamils. How ever the present ISlam is very expansionist, agrresive and, in other words, extremist.
Sri Lanka was protected for 2500 years. How ever muslims in the world are only for about 1200 years.
Muslims are 7%. Sinhala Buddhists are 65%. Sinhala Buddhists are living with all these people for centuries.
It is others who carved into Sinhala Buddhist territory and now fiercely fighting for more territory..
Muslims should NOTICE that in any other country where majority is Muslims whether they have allowed other religions to be introduced, practiced. Instead they destroy other religions.
