Why these two incompetent people? The rest is fine. Both are like spies, checking on more competent people.
Namal probably thinks public money as his own. He should be sent to Middle east to help solve problems for the foreign workers.
The problem is, the leaders, do not have guts to control obvious wrong doing. The government will pay someday, if this continues.
However, what is the alternative? UNP will sell the store very cheap. JVP has no clue.

Think about billions of dollars spent on various annual pilgrimages to New york and by many ministers and their accompanied enoturages to various parts of the world and Geneva etc. then the money spent on advertising firms in the UK and lobbying firms in the US.
How much we have got out of those ? All waste of money.
Who cares? Borrowed money. |

You see, this is my point. Even now, your power hungry leader thinks about himself rather than the country. If he really concerned about the country, could send someone experienced in foreign matters.
Over 75% of Srilankan overseas embassies govern by either MR.R's relatives or friends who do not have any knowledge, education or experiences in foreign issues.

I have no problem if the relative who are appointed have credentials to serve. For instance, I believe Gota does and he proved in his role to win the war. I am not commenting on other problems he may or may not have.
You can complain all you want but it is the people who have to realize the problems and demand clean up. I am sure the people of Sri Lanka will take care of 'our leaders' if things do not get better. In the mean time, we all have to safeguard the long term future of our country by not allowing terror supporters to ruin the hard-won peace. If that requires, getting rid of rogue leaders, so be it. |

Because they are elected by people, as the elected reps
So peoples money is MY money. So, I do what ever I want. that is how they feel and work.

FSP leader Premakumar Gunarathnam alias Kumar Mahathya has been blacklisted by the Sri Lankan govt. According to the Department of Immigration and Emigration, Gunarathnam is being blacklisted from entering the country on the basis that he came to Sri Lanka recently using an Australian passport with a different name. Sources said that Gunarathnam will not be permitted to re-enter Sri Lanka even as a Sri Lankan citizen
Hmm..If he has given up Sri Lankan citizenship, I can understand. And he should be banned. However, if he has a Sri Lankan passport (dual) then he should be allowed and charged.
I am not sure why the government is going after this small fish. |
