Looks like Professor Peiris is becoming a Scapegoat for Defense Secretary (Army & Air Force only) Gotabaya Rajapakshe's Mistakes and Crimes.
Plaestine Israel Confusion is excusable, as the Good Professor is cornered to face the Sri Lankan Human Rights Violations on the International Stage.
We should remove Gotabaya the Liability of Sri Lanka, before it is too late. The White Van Abductions and Very Aggressive Talks will put Mother Lanka in a Big Trouble, and may be all of Our Diplomatic Service Members to work extra hours clean the Mess created by this arrogant and shameless Human Rights Violator.
[Besides that, his prolonged stay will tarnish the image of Good Rajapaksha Family, and by this time itself I am gettin started to compare NAMAL RAJAPKSHA to Uday Hussain - the Violent Iraqi Dictators Son.]

That is exactly what has happened.
Plantation minister had gone to Geneva. Every time when difficult questions came he had said ' I am not the minister for Human rights. This is my side job. My job is Plantation - minister'.
Excellent way to defend Sri Lanka.
I think that TRICO - MANAGER for the Dubai branch wants the minister post.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you.

In the entire article, there is only one sentence that refers to GLP's visit to the US which is

And there is absolutely no mention of any secret Action Plan which we all will be interested in.
Mr. Brown trying to emulate GLP in a manner of speaking!
