The latest claim of LTTE's International Relations head S. Pathmanathan that Prabhakaran is still alive and safe might be part of a ploy of the playback schemers to project, in future, some look-alike of the dead man and to carry on terrorist acts and depredation and subversion in the name of Tamilian rights in Sri Lanka. But Sri Lankans are not so weak or foolish to allow senseless violence and bloodbath on their soil any more. The unity of the Sri Lankan people in combating the LTTE menace, is enviable and worthy of emulation. Further, Sri Lankan Prime Minister has not the misfortune to take orders from any foreigner or to appease some overseas powers by singing alien tunes or by telling things that he himself does not believe. He has no misfortune to tell anyone shamelessly that a particular group of the people of his country has first preference over national assets. And in fortunate countries, if a democratically elected ruler shows the audacity to tell such nonsense and violation of the principle of equality of rights for all, the people of the country shall give a befitting reply to such unbridled show of servility. But in a nation of parabrahmas, such guys sometimes get more support, and the people write off such phenomena as the vikritis of Age Kali.

The Democratic Party led by Sarath Fonseka says that he would be released on May 1st after being imprisoned for political reasons. Sources said that Fonseka is to be released as a result of the discussions between parliamentarian Tiran Alles and the President.

The two and a half year jail term imposed on Fonseka by two court martials is to come to an end by the end of April. The party believes that although Fonseka has been sentenced to another prison term, there was a likelihood him being granted bail since a writ application has been filed against the verdict before the Court of Appeal.

MP Alles is also in discussion with Fonseka s lawyers to get bail for Fonseka in the case currently being heard on soliciting the services of military personnel in an illegal manner during the period of the Presidential election.

The Isira radio channel owned by Alles had also announced that Fonseka would be released on May 1st.

LTTE s Tamil face as a mask for Christian guns and grenades. Every sincere fighter of the LTTE was being used as a cat s paw by this crooked leader of Church-sponsored terrorism. Most of the other top leaders of the outfit were also Christians by faith, mainly Protestant, some of them hiding Christian identity with Hindu names, as Prabhakaran himself was doing

What a load of BS! Even Eeelamaya must be laughing from the wrong end.

The Norwegian government had helped the LTTE
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam
to establish a relationship with Eritrea which allowed the group to purchase arms, ammunition and equipment from China on Eritrean end-user certificates-the documents needed to legally buy weapons, well informed sources said.

Sources said that the tripartite understanding had been reached in Norway as far back as 2002-2003 when the Scandinavian country spearheaded negotiations aimed at ending the war in Sri Lanka. Sources said ongoing investigations had revealed that Norway facilitated the meeting between Eritrean representatives and the LTTE.

Responding to The Island's queries, sources said that the then Sri Lankan government had not been aware of the move to strengthen the conventional fighting capability of the LTTE. Sources added that some members of the LTTE negotiating team, too, had been involved with the Eritreans. Government sources said that the international community should investigate the Norwegian role in destabilizing a UN member state.

The interrogation of Kumaran Padmanathan aka KP captured by Sri Lanka over two months ago had confirmed the Eritrean deal. India is also seeking to interrogate KP though New Delhi never allowed Sri Lanka access to LTTE terrorists arrested during eelam war IV. Over 90 per cent of all heavy equipment, including a range of artillery pieces and 14.5 mm four barrelled anti-aircraft guns captured by the army were of Chinese origin.

This is true.

Tamils were sent as refugees and they were helped to find jobs after which the tamil had to contribute money (10%) to the struggle.

Church also has a same scheme.
