In this visit MR's state visit to Korea, there is a delegation from our ministry also attend. we will sign several very important deals on energy sector with Korea and it will help a lot in the future development works

Thousands of Buddhist monks and lay supporters have protested the construction of a mosque and a Hindu temple built within the area designated as a Buddhist sacred zone in Dambulla.
Why Srilankans can not understand that this is not the way of doing peace or unity with other races?
It's very easy to ignite fire with using race,cast, religion or nationalism in any where. Most of these cases people losing their human values and becoming worst than four legs wild animals. You know very well with the example of LTTE.
Who uses race and religion as a weapons? mainly power hungry, or trying to regain popularity politicians and some religious leaders.

Srilanka is a multicultural, multi religious, multiracial nation and no doubt it is willing to be a modern and aiming to be a country like Singapore. Religious harmony and race harmony are the main factors for the just and modern society.
You Srilankan, would like to be in modern world? or like to be keep fanaticism like in Arabic countries and India?
May I ask, what's the problem if Muslims or Hindu would worship at their own place, at their time without harming no one? Did Buddha prohibited other religions(Prop. Allah did and Q'uran say so)? NO. |
