How did you come to the conclusion that all Bo trees are from bird dropping?
This has not been intended or stated.
haa haa trying to use 'low' points are we? :D
do you know of ANY bo trees which had been a result of a bird droping, which buddhists claim as a sacred land in that case? :)
What is the probability of Jesus christ been shot with a revolver?
What is the probability of a Bo tree being the result of bird dropping?
err so now the issue is the revolver is it? would any other contemporary murder instrument have been more acceptable to you? :D
When you understand this you might understand why one can give an opinion on one and not the other.
I think you are mistaken/confused about opinions and the logic behind what baka asked :) |

Buddha never taught to damage properties of others ..Or speak evil
These Buddhist monks can't follow the simple 5 basic rules .. And sad to see there are buggers to defend them too.. Also call them Buddhist
2 of the basic rules
Do not steal ( atin na ta na veramani ) (also it's about damaging the property of others )
Do not lie or speak no evil ( musa wa ta veramani )
Not only that Buddha says 'Appa mano - do not make idols nor worship and bow down to them.. But we still follow

However buddhism is practice in a different way in most of the Sinhalese Buddhist . Also the people who call them Christians like war againsts other christians or other nations .. But still we call us Buddhist or Christians even we don't practice what's been taught ..

Now the guys who talk about the cross and Jesus crucifixion have no idea what they talk about .. I think if you have time to read the bible you will understand about it more .. I can just say few things than going into too deep into this subject why it all happen and why in the cross ..
Just for your info .. Jesus chose to die , he have to , it did not happen all of a sudden . Planed and said 1000 of years ago and it was revealed to the prophets long time ago about Jesus death and suffering ..
Again it got to be a cross as for the prophets who wrote about it ..
There are lots of verses in the bible about this ..
Even before people knew about the cross (Romans way) king David writes about this 1000 years before Jesus was born and even when no one knew about cross .. |

Now here is a chapter in the book of psalm 22 pictures Jesus suffering and the words that's been used by Jesus . David writes this as he is witnessing the crucifixion of Jesus 1000 years ago .. ( psalm is a holy book for Jews too )
Christain can follow the new testament to compare this chapter 22 ..

Where did Buddha says LAND is holy ?
This is idol worshiping ..
In Christian faith we say it but don't follow it too ..
idol is anything you love more, fear more, value more or serve more than you do Almighty god
