Look at that ugly girl in the 2nd pic, yet peelamists think they are very good looking and pretty!
I can't believe seeing an insensitive comment like this.
Those in the picture are IDPs for almost 3 years now. How many of us know or have seen what life is like for an IDP without the comforts of a home, without proper water or electricity, without regular employment or income with hungry children to feed, without proper medical facilities for themselves and their children, unhealthy and unhygienic surroundings, fear and insecurity of harm from both man and animal and most of all the ANXIETY and WORRY of when they will see an end to all their suffering.
Now, living under such traumatic conditions, even Miss. World 2008, would be a pathetic sight to look at after, may be just a few months.
So, please have a heart. As human beings, we need to understand each other if we are to make any progress towards a peaceful and united country. If we show such insensitivity and ridicule to suffering people, what can we expect from opportunistic politicians who are supposed to be leading this country? |

its a sin to say such a thing to those who suffered from the war for 3 decades. Look at that ugly girl in the 2nd pic, yet peelamists think they are very good looking and pretty! never under estimate the value of a human. it can be a innocent beggar or handicapped. |

Did you live in SL for the last 30 yrs, don't teach us the meaning of awihinsawa, we have no sympathy for these #%+*%^ Tamils. When LTTE killed thousands of innocent Sinhalese where were these so called human rights? You think there are innocent Tamils? They are all the same
If you feel sorry for them please do your best to have their home land in Nadu, but never never in our mother land

That is why the TN politicians refused to join this boru drama.
not true. the reason why they did not come is that if the people tell the truth whats happening after the war and how things are improving even it is slow, the picture what TN shows to the rest of the countries becoming fake. any way those Indian members have relied the ground reality and it will help to calm the issue at the Indian parliament.
even people in the south India will realize to some extent the real truth. so the the drama will be over soon for those who make falls claims. |

five fingers want be the same in your hand. imaging the pressure from the MELTTE terror with weapons on those who lived in conflict ares. they have no choice but to obey them. what more could they have done. forgiveness is a part of my religion and Jesus did same for every one.i believe Buddhism will tell the same and Islam too. i do not know much about hindu but it would have told the same.
now you imagine the situation in your area. though we do not see the weapons that often pointed on our heads but still its happening. so all those who praise during the post war now have realized that its another war withing. don't you think that you were been controlled by the government. can you openly talk in public without fear of been abducted. talk to your self. get in to the same shoes of the other those who have gone through such times. learn think a bit more. |
