At the Peace Conference in San Francisco in 1951, JRJ not only ably convinced the two super powers to allow Japan to achieve lasting peace but also thereby brought international fame to Sri Lanka. [Buddha has never said abt sacred areas. but thats how we preserve them due to their historic values otherwise they will become another commercial area like katharagama.
buddhism is maninly involed with meditation. if a mosque is built there and you hear muslim prayers in a loudspeaker day/night, do you think the priests and all other ppl who go there will be able to meditate?]
Many things what Buddha had said, this guy or his cohorts are not following then why worry about the sacred areas? Does he accept the blame for commercialising Katharagama? Does he accept that it was the work of the sinhala buddist? Who forcibly went and built Viharas etc in katharagama just to dilute the Hindu Shrine? Who took over the Ramakrishna Mission that was meant for Hindu Pilgrims? Who are these Kapuralas...a bunch of rouges with their faces covered in clothes who are conniving with the vendors to re-sell vattiyas, camphor and other offerings by the devotees?
Does this racist noisy guy allow others to meditate in this forum or achieve some form of peace of mind while discussing in the forum? His offensive and insensitive and venomous postings are considered good for meditation? Is there any substance in his bogus claims of his patronage of Buddhas values? Even his name in the previous birth 'Mucha Linda' has any substance except mischief making.
Proof of the pudding is in the eating. One can just argue for the sake of arguing but there should be honesty and integrity before he commit himself.
Coming to Islam, my friend Bleeding heart, generally Muslims are good, hospitable people but when it comes to islam and its many believes (most not told by Mohammad) are sometime unacceptable especially pertaining to other religions, women, others rights, the right to speak out , etc. The response for talking back could be disastrous. When it comes to religion most of them go blank and no chance for countering them.
My great worry today is not about Islam but the way Buddism is practiced by the Sinhalese. It is sadly taking an extremist path with intolerance and violence. Most seriously Buddism in SL is 100% politicised and is a political weapon more than a religious practice.
Do you think erecting buddist temples in the N&E is a thirst for Buddism, certainly not but to put the sinhala authority in the area, simple as that.
This guy Shameless can tell anything but he is totally dishonest and a liar and a racist and an extremist. I simply count him out of this deliberation. |

ha..ha...this is exactly what I am telling about Sinhala Buddism and its sad practice.
Can this evil JR the cunning old fox who is responsible for all this chaos and confusion and conflict talk about Buddha? he is not even a Buddist. I personally know what he thinks about the Buddist Clergy!
He brought into SL all kinds of violence, suppression, terrorism, break down of law and order, tampering with democracy, oppression of minorities, lying, cheating and you name it and he did it. This evil man said buddhas word:

ha,..ha.. that is what he did to the people and the country love..love..love..love..
This liar Shameless is really and 100% shameless to say such stupid things with his background, hatred, racism, offensive and hurting language. TYhese are the guys who have taken control over sinhala buddism and I am sure there is no hope at all for SL except spilling blood in the name of religion in the future.
Some of these guys never ever hesitate to tell lies over lies and cover themselves with religion and patriotism.
