Oh I know why they are just randomly erecting poor Buddha's statues all over N&E where there are no Buddists at all to later make hora claims and write history and archeology books.
ok will remove all buddhist statues from north and east but if you remove all hindu kovils from the south and other areas
We ll take all sinhalese from north if you take all the tamils from south
If you cant do that then we want all sinhalese who were living in north before the war started to go back to their homes, you might say there were no sinhalese there.., thats your problem and we call it ignorance

A small prayer room is built there out of no where , and suddenly ppl come and claim that its been there for years.
The Dambulla Mosque had been there for well over 40 years according to a SINHALA RESIDENT. But, a person who has little or no connection with Dambulla, will not accept it.
If it is illegal as is ASSUMED, then it is for the authorities to remove it through due process. If mobs led by monks take it upon themselves to remove it, and there are others who blindly support such vandalism when it should be condemned in no uncertain terms, it is a terribly sad situation which will lead to anarchy. May Sri Lanka be saved from vandals and anarchists. |

yes she was saved bcos she was not tamil if it was a tamil we wud give a nice slap not to be forgotten |

You miss the point altogether. It is actions such as these that lead to distrust and sour relationship between the Muslims and Sinhalese. Don't forget, Muslims live the world over. It is not just the Muslims here who will be very upset by the foolhardy action of some bad elements among the Sinhalese but the Muslims the world over.
You may be partly right. The Tamil diaspora could very well use this incident effectively against the government and the Sinhalese as a whole. You are really giving them fodder and playing into their hands. Don't blame them. Blame yourselves. |

Most muslims countries supported us in geneva , and our president always supported the palestines..
I get the impression you r a muslim. Am i right?
We sinhalese do not have any problem with muslims .During the indian delegation visit the muslim congress said they are willing to give the government the fullest support in devolution of power unlike the TNA morons who kept on speaking land and police powers
I have lots of indian friends here in australia and most of them hate muslims
Regarding this incident in dabulla if this is an illegal construction that shoud ne removed. Have you seen any buddhist temple in the middle of muslim mosque? They will do it through negotiations, but these protests might have taken place bcos sometimes there is no point of talking to some provicial council members, some of them would do anything for money
Coudnt it be that someone bribed one of these provincial coulncil memebers in dabulla to build such a mosque illegally?

Why now and not before the Mosque was attacked?
Don't you see how much damage has been done to the Sinhala/Muslim relationship by this single mindless action apart from the negative message sent to the International community which is waiting to pounce on us?
And you want to point a finger at the tamil diaspora, just like the politicians who do no wrong but blame it on others.
