What exactly GOSL did not do for tamils before or after the war?
The current burning question is not what GOSL did not do but what it did.
It collectively denied the human hights of all Tamils.
It acted not as a govt of the country but the Sinhalese.
It collectively massacred Tamils without accountability.
It prisoned its citizens for being Tamils, still there are suspects in custody since 05/07 held without charges.
It destroyed the lively hood.
It destroyed almost every facility.
The list goes on. |

UNHRC resolutions
UN resolution was design by the USA. Yes the LLRC was a Sri lankan product. But they are two different things and some of the LLRC recommendations are in UN resolution. It need a considerable time frame to achieve even some part of it.It took 30yrs to finish the war but USA wants all the damages happened for 30 years to repaired in less than 3yrs. This is a deliberate pressure by the US on SL government Due to Srilank's other relations around the world ie Russia,China. This is nothing to do with people suffering or human rights.
US cannot even fulfill 10% Iraqi people they have promised.
SL will implement some parts of the LLRC but the UN resolution end up in the dustbin.

Charlie, what is the basis for this 'referendum' Who said it is going to happen? May be peelamists want it.
We do not have to fight anyone. UNHRC resolution in the end did not turn out to be that bad. We do not have to jump. GOSL has said they will implement LLRC. We cannot ignore tamils. |

Bunch of Bull! Give us proofs man. Let us see what Indian delegations sees. At least be greatful for the release of terrorists. You have heard about GITMO. If we treated LTTE as they did in GITMO, no one would have been released.
