USA is trying to wash their hands by handing over the problem to someone else. Sending SLA to Afghan would have created lot of internal conflicts in SL and conflicts with other Arab nations too.
Exactly.
Then they get some one else to do their dirty work.

UNHRC resolution is a revenge for this but nothing to do with HR issues in SL and USA does not give two hoots about Sinhalese people getting killed. They talk for Tamils for their peelam money & votes but nothing else.
The biggest human rights violation took place under Premadasa 1988/89. Not only UNP leaders killed the JVP guys but also killed to take the revenge from others too. Did UNHRC talk about it?

Under MR, everybody has got a lot. Only Sinhala people have lost.
This idiot lost his nuts. When you have majority sinhala moronic 'Yes Men' under MR what else you would expect?
How can you get a lot when you have deserted the country after your misdeeds? But you are getting a lot from Toronto tamils! |

I must warn my pal when he goes to the ME next time! The natives are not safe in the ME too. In SL they get abducted by white vans and abroad get stabbed by hora gahanies.
Aie me kalabola?
A Sri Lankan expatriate has partially lost his memory after an alleged assault by his Moroccan wife in Riyadh, the Sri Lankan Embassy said yesterday.
Piyal Ratnapala, 54, has been living with his 29-year-old Moroccan wife Shaim after they got married five years ago in Riyadh. According to the embassy, the woman stabbed Ratnapala several times with a kitchen knife as he was leaving their apartment. It is believed that a domestic dispute was the cause of the attack.
Ratnapala has been living in the Kingdom for more than a decade.
Following Ratnapala s discharge from the hospital, a good Samaritan dropped him off at the Sri Lankan Embassy.
Police arrested Shaim following the attack. She apparently told the police she did not remember what she did to her husband in a fit of rage.
Confirming the attack, Sri Lankan Labor Counselor Anura Muthumala told Arab News that Ratnapala is currently in the mission s custody as he had partially lost his memory.
He can remember a few things but when we ask questions, he is unable to answer properly since he cannot remember everything, the official said. |

You make enemies by your own absolute stupidity and for heaven sake don't look for excuses or looking for scapegoats. Over the years you guys have evolved by blaming the tamils and Muslims for all your sins and failures without realising that you fellows are 100% responsible for your failures.
Most of you don't have the commonsense or the state of mind and wisdom to realise the truth.
For example just see in this forum and how you mess up things and bring great disrepute to Sinhalese by your utterances! |

The comments here are generally based on pre-conceived ideas and hearsay which prevents any meaningful discussion or dialogue. I have also suggested the need to impart to children human values found in religion.
For those claiming to be Buddhists, here is something to reflect on.
Believe nothing, O monks, merely because you have been told it, because it is traditional, or because you yourselves have imagined it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings - that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.
