There are two 4- legged animals on LNP too. One was bread in Kazakhstan near Russia and the other in Wanatamullay in Colombo and exported to Japan.

Like all laws in SL today, these laws dont apply to high and the mighty.
As any rational person knows, Rule of Law no longer functions in SL. So bringing any more laws is just a joke. Parlimentarians are just wasting billions of public money debating and enacting laws that only apply selectively.
Why because the police who are the law enforcers are under the control of Gota. What he says goes, or else the police office in charge can potentially say bye bye to his promotions or even the job.
White vans roam the streets, making dessidents disapear only to be released only after orders from the top?
It is pathetic that there are millions of Lankans who dont see this wanton destruction of the Rule of law.

I learned that when I came outside. In Sri Lanka we are taught to accommodate.
By outside, I believe you mean the West where the majority Christians are Christians only during Christmas and New Year which
is a period of merry making and the Churches are empty during Sundays. If these so-called Christians create disharmony, then it must be because they are far far away from Christianity and no NOTHING about Christianity. So, your evidence is no evidence at all.
If you are to take philosophical books, written by people such as the Qu'ran, the Torrah, the Bible, etc and try to take them word by word then, yes religions can equal disharmony.
Have you read any of these Books word by word? How many people can even claim to have seen all these Books leave alone read and understand them? And read the word by word?
Therefore, to say religions equal disharmony is an opinion plucked from the air.
You talk about 8% of minorities. they were zero long ago. Now, they talk about their own regional autonomy.
Only the Muslims of the East asked for regional autonomy, not the Muslims of the North or the Muslims of the rest of the country. The Christians didn't even think about it. The Eastern Muslims form a minority among the Muslims in the country. And, you want to hold the action of a minority of Muslims living in the East against the entire Muslims. How logical you sound.
The Eastern Muslims asked for regional autonomy in the context of a merged North and East as they feared domination and discrimination by the preponderant Tamil majority in the event of a merged North-East. If there was no merger, there wouldn't have been a call for regional autonomy. You call that wrong? |

Check the history to see how many have died because of religious conflicts - crusades and conquests.

Crusades, Jihads, Conquests - Are those in books, On the other hand both books talk about killing infidels. Edited By - AnuD - 15 Apr 2012 02:51:25 GMT |

Because, you live in Sri Lanka and Buddhists allow you to convert as you please.
So, both muslims and christians have easy time.
IT is not the same else where. Edited By - AnuD - 15 Apr 2012 02:56:00 GMT |

In Sri lanka paying taxes is voluntary.
The Guide to Filling the Income Tax Return issued by the Department of Inland Revenue carries the following Note at the bottom of the first page
NOTE:- The law provides for the imposition of a penalty on any person who fails to furnish a Return as of the due date, or makes an incorrect Return
If paying taxes is voluntary, why IMPOSE penalties for failure to make a Return or for making an incorrect Return? |
