| If nay of you believe that US is hole heatedly helping sri lanka to uplift its economy, you better think twice. the main idea of the IMF funding is to keep the sri lanka under the control of US. then only they can have the best of the living standards in the world. if sri lanka stand alone without debts to a third party, the living standards of the Sri lankans grow high. then sri lankan will not do slavery to other nations. in return those nations will have to spend more to get the services. the IMF loan is a great trap and our country is well tangled. the repayment of the loan is going to cost our fellow citizens a huge tax increase. however the money taken will be utilized blindly as it happens in the past. it will be wasted just like that to built infrastructure that has no short term returns. no one will worry how the funds were been used as long as its used and earn the commission. you and i know where the commission will go. |

Very soon all the sinhala patriots will be out of SL and who is going to run the country?

Happy New Year to all the good, decent, enlightened, 'Really' patriotic Sri Lankans, immaterial what their cast, race or religion.
My wishes are not applicable to bad guys including a few in this forum.
May good things happen to SL hereafter and all feel safe, free and happy and free from hunger and poverty.

i will join with any one who can think wisely and who is against the corruption, who likes to live in a country with a freedom of speech. who will believe that all the citizens of Sri Lanka as Sri Lankans irrespective of their cast or the religion. who would like have fair judgment for each victim. who wold like to see the leaders of the country and its individual carders accountable and held responsible for what hey do. who will respect each other. i work in a country with more than 20 different nationalities work in harmony, respect each other with a great tolerances ability. |

Colonials made Sri Lanka really dependent.
They don't have any courage to grow on their own.
They simply believe on loans and imports keep them at high living standards. |

The commissioning of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle squadron at the naval air station near Uchipuli in Ramanathapuram district will expand the reach of the Indian Navy along the eastern coast to a great extent, Vice Admiral Anil Chopra, Commanding-In-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, said on Wednesday.
