Former prime minister Rathnasiri Wickramanayake says he is honestly ashamed to be a Sri Lankan at a time when abductions and other signs of lawlessness are obvious in the country.
Addressing a function in Ingiriya yesterday (Apr. 11), he said a man cannot walk on the roads freely without being abducted, which should not take place in a just, free and democratic country.
No one knows who is responsible, but it is the duty of the government to bring the culprits to book, he added.

Gajan Malli.
I apologise if I hurt your feelings. I say and do things impartially without taking sides. In my profession I am trained to do that. I made that subtle comments because of the trend that is now taking place in Sri Lankan Politics. I said it without any malice or prejudice but a as a matter of fact.
Once again, I reiterate it is a subtle comment don't have to take it too seriously.

The government said that there is no secret police operating in Sri Lanka as claimed by some sections.
In an interview with an Australian newsagency Sri Lankan High Commission in Australia, Thisara Samarasinghe said 'there's a police force and other elements of the police force which conduct criminal investigations.'
Speaking on the alleged abduction of the JVP dissident leader Kumar Gunaratnam, Samarasinghe said that he has not been detained by Sri Lankan authorities. He has never been arrested nor taken away by anybody from the Government, Samarasinghe added.

Gagan- dont be supprized.
Astro - you represents a typical modern day politician. Merwin is bit more serious than you on his comments. i am appearing now because every thing needs time. i was waiting to see any good progress in the country but nothing. every thing is negative so far. except the pockets of the MPs. my Sri lankan expenses has increased drastically in the past few months. i have to send money to look after some of the dependents and few businesses running. obviously i have to appear one day.
skin color- please i am not your skin color. don't even think about it.
Mega - practice what you preach. even at present what you use to communicate is what was learned from so called sudda. unless otherwise your were inherited it.

Don't worry about gajan Huah. He has the heart of a stone, in fact you could call it heartless.
He is disturbed that tsunami did not come because he would have made a fortune by Inferior Structure Building.
What he did in Manik farm all collapsed. Many who sat on his pit latrines have finally ended up in the pits! |

And, most LNP members have migrated abroad to eat 'fruits and apples' of suddas. It is somewhat hypocritical to talk about kalu suddas living abroad. You may think this dumb but it is the truth!
Sri lankans in abroad might not do anything useful for the country. But who are better? Those who live abroad and love their country or those live in the country and betray their country... ( I'm not talking about those peelamists who live abroad and betray their motherland |
