Hi Nimal Ayya..
After long time, could not talk to you,but having read the following of yours some where thought to write few words.
What to do aney, we are going backwards not forward. Just bite your teeth and wait for the next vote. This Goverment is Rock Solid nothing can topple them. So be patient and vote deligently next time. Long time to wait but there's nothing we can do about it.

Yes ane nothing to do but, about this direction of moving depends on the way you look at it. For us here we don t see so. Even if you go around the country you see people moving happily, and of course these days all are eagerly preparing for NY, but not those disappointments, all kinds of problems we hear in the forum. Also they have no damn care about what the critics say, but very much enjoying the freedom.
similalry if you travel to North and East it is not different either, lot of development activities and people bc making their lives happier. It is not the NE that Sampanthan mutththa blabbering here. Even thamils there have no damn care about them.
As I see only issue at the moment is with the liquidity issue in the economy, which is again due to huge developments projects we have embarked on. But as per my colleagues in the FM, we are very confident that we will be in a much stable position in 1-2 years time. Whatever the critics say we have embarked on large number of important infrastructure projects as never before in the history. Whatever those temporary setbacks we experience now, those will be go away with time.
So I am sure that we will have a good time ahead.
It is very sad that, what you here in most of these news forums are utter lies, so please don t go by them. one good example is the , story of closing down of some of European Emb, I checked, but gvmt has not made any such decision. So there are many more like this, even here you can see some members bring to the forum.
Even though Tallapan Singh showed his back to us, we have not made any decision to stop or cancel any of those important power projects planned to implement with India ( I personally like to see those stoped). |

So I think we are playing our cards carefully though there are few guys doing silly things, those you cant stop when you get in to a multi colour wagon.
Next issue ..

Yes I agree, gvmt is rock solid ( solid than the rock in hambantota and those were thrown at Hirikitha). But still who knows what happenes tomorrow in this highly changing world.
If MR is fortunate enough to live till next PE, nobody can stop him winning again.
He is moving around very freely without his security some times. But this is not good, as the diaspora guys and also local guys who lost multi million job opportunities (eg fellows like Lie pot fabrica de Silva here) are dreaming his down fall.
Who knows if those lost business guys could afford a gunman or diaspora arrange a thangachchi to jump on to him, things can change overnight.
I wish he will live to lead us for another 10 - 15 years.
Why I say MR can win easily is(not by computer jilmarts or by sending results direct to MR before sending to SLBC)
In the next PE, I think there will at least 2 or 3 common opposition candidates (Pl note I am not a malayalan astrologer), as nobody will come forward to give it to Ponseka like last time. We all know why ranawiru Wickramasinghe gave his position to Ponseka to do hara-kiri and for him to save his seat in the Hiri kitha.
Also by next PE, country will be in a very much better position and people will not worry about politicians, specially we will have to remind people about the presence of an opposition( if they were lucky to survive after all those internal fightings) |

So I think next PE , we will field MR, and from your side SF, Nidan Sajith and RW, and then our PE cosponsors, Wickramabahu/siri tunga, mano ganeshan, may be from rathu sahodarayas( next time they will not definitely back ponseka or junta party, as they lost their virginity) and also may be from sampanthan group.
Under such circumstances MR will win easily,
RW will be the opp leader once again Nidan Sajith will go to bim mattan and ponseka will add to the list of election co sponsor group and will keep on attacking few others in addition to his list of MR, GR etc.
So be patient and vote diligently next time. Long time to wait but there's nothing we can do about it.
Yes I also think that we have to wait diligently until next next next time, but I don t think any big difference we can expect .
till then nothing can be done.
Just bite your teeth and wait for the next vote.
