Is seems like GOSL has rejected the modifications to the resolution that India has suggested. I think GL has realized India did that to their own benefit. Good move! |

Killing happens in a war! War is not clean sometimes. So what is your point? LTTE ran a clean war? They did not torture who were captured? Oh I forgot-GOSL is obliged to run a clean war but not the LTTE.

The issue here is about the atrocities committed by a legitimate government that is expected to follow certain conventions.
No one blames about civilian deaths but why Maaama totally denied along with his stooges?
LTTE is a 'terrorist organisation' according to SL and many other countries so they need not follow any conventions. Even otherwise VP and his close allies paid dearly for what they did and you guys foolishly killed them all in cold blood so they are not here now to face the charges.
But on the other hand GOSL and commander in chief are still here to face charges. And of course some LTTE killers are still here hiding behind maaama's sarama and why not take them to task instead of giving them 5 star comfort?
So mind you a legitimate government is certainly expected to run a 'Clean War' and not a terrorist organisation. If not clean then the government has to face the consequences.

And this is not a childing argument? 'they need to following any conventions' because they are a terrorist organization. I cannot believe you are making this argument. GOSL 'follishly' killed them? What was so foolish about that?

That is why I said the army foolishly killed the top LTTE guys when they surrendered or captured, then they could have been charged for their crimes against humanity and killing so many innocent civilians. But army just tortured and killed them at the scene that is again a violation of war convention.
That is why I also mentioned that there are a handful of LTTE terrorists are hiding behind Maama's sarama and take them to task!
Is there any tamil who said that LTTE is innocent? But certainly not me!
Why this problem to grasp these very basic points? |

I do not know whether he is my buddy or not, but some of his ideas are correct and valid points are worth to consider. But unfortunately, when your buddies started to insult, bash him, I think he is loosing his temper. I know personally how much insults, dirty words I am getting from your buddies now. PURE INSULTS, nothing to do with discussions. I try to avoid or ignore them, but not always it's possible. |
