Pimpia,
You have to negotiate with every country regarding any issue. No one should deny that but you don't have to to let them intervene with your matters take orders.
there is a big difference between negotiation and intervene.
When your F/M decided to go and talk to Hilary, your arrogant leader say NO.
You got it now. |

In Sri Lanka too, Jailing SF is stupid politics. It is simply weakness and revenge.
Instead, SF should be allowed to fool himself in front of the voters.
MR.R does not know what to do with SF. He can not keep him in jail for life as he planned. Several months ago, he said to a foreign group that he'll release SF, but then suddenly disappeared that promise.
After that USA embassy in Srilanka called a senior minister of the GOSL and warned him about the Geneva HRC. This case also gave some impulse to GENEVA, UNHRC decision.
SF must beg pardon to release him for crimes he did not commit or synthetic charges, but drug kingpins, killers, thugs are enjoying the freedom with the leaders total protection.

The Arab League opened a summit meeting in Baghdad on Thursday with only 10 of the 22 leaders in attendance, amid a growing rift over how far the group should go to end the conflict in Syria.
The meeting carries historical weight because Iraq is stepping out of the shadows after a decade of bloodshed to host the event, which is the first summit since the Arab Spring began in earnest just over a year ago.
Those uprisings forced the cancellation of last year's summit. Since then, four perennial summit figures have been swept from the scene: Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, Yemen's Ali Abdullah Saleh, Tunisia's Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali and Libya's Moammar Gadhafi.
The new leaders of Tunisia and Libya were among the 10 heads of state who attended, but Egypt and Yemen sent lower-level figures, a reflection of the domestic turmoil still roiling those nations

Ambassador Butenis wrote On February 25, Ambassador followed up reftel demarche to select capitals with a meeting with COMs of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland, plus the EU and UN, to discuss the current situation in Sri Lanka and gather thoughts on the way ahead.
COMs made several recommendations for the way ahead including: Refrain from active public engagement especially in the press with the government of Sri Lanka (GSL) until after parliamentar elections April 8. At the same time, we should be prepared to hit the GSL hard privately or publicly if it moved forward with persecution of NGOs and INGOs. After the parliamentary elections, we immediately and forcefully should re-engage to hold President Rajapaksa to his promises on reconciliation, the 13th Amendment, and economic development in the north and east. In capitals, governments should encourage Tamil diasporas to renounce separatism and militancy, to find ways to make constructive contributions to economic re-development and political reconciliation, and to engage as far as possible with the GSL. Butenis further wrote.
I repeat

Can you tell me anything wrong with their discussion?
How do they know what is best for Sri Lankans ?
Besides, would you believe that US would ever talk anything that something that does not help them, or at least would not help a bit ?
Tamil christian state there would fulfill their all the dreams.
Tamils too are happy to bend to the west. Tamils would happily accept if the westeners rape them.
Remember even the conservative Australian - Tamil man sharing his mentally sick wife on the bed with another Auastralian english man.
