A senior GoSL spokesman told The Island that since the conclusion of the conflict in May 2009, the Sri Lankan Tamil expatriate community had become the main obstacle to a negotiated settlement. In fact, the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), too, had been under the influence of various politically active groups, which spearheaded fund-raising campaigns in support of the LTTE.

I don't think govt playing HIDE AND SEEK with the Voters will work.

Sri Lanka is going to have problems for several years because of UNHRC. What ever govt do they will say not enough. Even if the govt do everything or nothing nothing except exactly what they want that will continue.

The best thing is to enlighten the people a little bit.

One minister says one person needs only Rs 2500 for food.

Why they are paid thousands when they have a few luxury mansions each
