Is the CID so naive that they have not even heard where MP Duminda Silva is. Ask any man on the street and they will tell that he is staying in an hospital in Singapore. In fact, the parliament recently granted him leave of absence too. Further, some VIPs have visited him in his hospital bed in Singapore recently. So, the CID has plenty of sources to find out the whereabouts of Duminda but the real reason is that they are under political pressure not to proceed and the AG is also adopting delaying tactics on orders from the top. The saga continues.

Vote on SL 'politically motivated'-Russia

Without criticizing India directly for backing the US-initiated resolution against Sri Lanka at the UN Human Rights Council, Russia has described the resolution as 'politically motivated' and one that has ended up discrediting the Council itself.
Very interesting comment for a true Russian unlike the fake one on LNP.

I have noticed this Calistus idiot never makes a positive comment about Sri Lanka on Daily Mirror. Even the day VP died he wrote something negative. He must be related to the the Musketeers on LNP Anud , Damed & charlie who are on the level.

A leaked US embassy cable reviled drug kingpins in Sri Lanka have political patrons in the government . Chief among them Dr. Mervin Silva, a Member of Parliament and the Minister of Labor the cable further said. The Colombo Telegraph found the cable from the Wikileaks database.
The remarks by Washington s embassy to Sri Lanka, are revealed by the Wikileaks leaked cable. The cable was classified as CONFIDENTIAL by ambassador Patricia A. Butenis.
