But India ate the dead ropes to make happy the peelamists and uncle Sam.
From what I read today in the Indian forums, Sing is not admired by too many forward thinking real Indians.
btw, VS wants to know if we'll let them have the T20 on a plate.. yeah, that's what I thought..

but I think we must rethink about the proposed power Link between India and SL. Because you cant expect a reliable power supply from an unrelaible partner.
What is this power link Gajan???
They showed us their power at the UNHR. Why should we care about their power? |

Govt wanted a kick on the but$ and they got it.

yes many Indians are upset about this dicision.
very many good indian friends work with there phoned/emailed and regretted about what the Centre did against SL.
whatever the outcome India simply gave her hand to the world terrorism campaign sponsored by the Americans and british bstds. |

There is a proposal to connect the electricity grid of ours with the Indian grid by a submarine cable, this is actually a part of the future SAARC common power grid.
as per the proposed arrangement from south India will come to Mannar island under sea and from their OH line up to AnuradhaPura.
They showed us their power at the UNHR. Why should we care about their power?
yes we should not,
india is a country you should deal while maintaning a distance.
Also we should not repeat the same mistake our rathu sahodaraya or premadasa Unnnahe did in the past.

I don't agree with you on this.
Rathu Sahodaraya stood against India every-time when India intervened our internal issues. Remember they organized a campaign against Indian products.
Premadasa chased IPKF from SL. He used LTTE to do that by donating arms to LTTE which was a big blunder.
don't forget the past. |

Maka,
no. may be what I mean is not fully reflected there.
India is a diffcult customer for all his neighbours, we are lucky as we are little apart, see the fate of those two touching neighbores, who suffer ekdas ganta becuase of Indians.
(Just an eg , they control all the major rivers and during droughts they do not release a drop to Bangalese down stream and during heavy flood times they release water without any prior notice, violating the accepted norms of International river management)
so such a difficult customer annot be ccontrolled by the cheap tactics of Rathu Sahodarayas or the aggressive way Perema dasa adopted as the PM.
(you may recall he once mentioned the Eladena - wassa story to Indira and Rajiv Ghandi)
For me Premadasa is a loss case.

We should also object to the impending Nuclear power plant in tamilnadu to the IAEA on safety grounds, also we should get behind and support the protesters in tamilnadu who also don't want this thing there.

No foreign intervention will be allowed President
(Colombo-Lankapuvath)President Mahinda Rajapaksa said protection of human rights is not alien to Sri Lankans and inspired by Buddhist teachings Lankans have a tradition of protecting and safeguarding human rights for more than 2,500 years. He emphasized that no foreign intervention will be allowed and no one can meddle in the internal affairs of the country.
The way to go....we can afford to do this because we have China & Russia on our side in the UN security council. |
