Sri Lanka has lot od old treasures.
Antiguq smugglers and thieves are busy stealing and selling many antiques in Sri lanka. IT is said, that recent murders are because of Antique thieves looking for some of the swords embedded with gems.
Sri Lanka has even ministers who steal some of those antiques.
100 odd ministers but no one or the museum is collecting and protecting those things of the Sri Lanka past.
They are being sold to the cheapest overseas bidder ????
Why do we need govts in order to have anarchy ? |

athis museam incident is very unfortunate.
I still believe it was a work of the contractor's workers who presently working there, or outside party with their help.
The incident in Kotte temple is nothing to do with antiques but money, it is the Thero who has mentioned about the money collection in his possession to the first accused.
some guys talk like this is world first incident of this nature. Even Mona lisa picture was robbed once.
Also dont forget we had a time under one famous preseident, VOC antiques were collected in large scale.
even black cats were disappered during that period |

that is just one.
Sri Lanka is not doing anything in preserving old treasures that we have, which should be a lot, even when there over 100 ministers in the govt to look after Sri Lanka.
BTW, there was one minister who was accuse of stealing or trying to steal those treasures. but, that minister is still in the parliament.
That is the arse - chariyaawa in Sri Lanka.
Law and justice do not work at all. |

They don't mention here the number of religious CRUSADER wars and the massacres they did.

President of Sri Lanka already approved the LLRC report... This has a lot of recommendatins that will help the country move forward...
