I posted long ago that it's better to negotiate with USA and UK something.

So better try to negotiate something with USA and EU.

Charlie,
Negotiate what? I am pretty sure MR brothers tried this with Blake. Don't you think Blake is hell bent on hurting SL because of LTTE pressure?

I too agree that some of the public rallys will not help. Also, Weerawansa's actions are not helping.

All sri lankans should unite to hate the actions of some NGS and TNA. They are unpatriotic traitors

Charlie, I am not sure why Minister Peris did not go to meet Hilary. I resented the fact that Blake and Otero came to our country and admonished us. Do you think Russia would negotiate with US on similar situations. Do not tell us we should do it because we are a small country. When you say 'your' minister, apparently you consider yourself a 'Russian' and not a Sri Lankan. We apprecite Russian advice but we do not need to be told that we need to negotiate with anyone.

I am not sure what you meant by IMF under LTTE...pressure.

You may recall that MR tried to negotiate many times. If USA killed Bin Laden why could we not kill VP and his goons. Regardless, you as a having connection to Sri Lanka should stand for the rights of a small country like ours.

YOU USED TO! We are very puzzled how you changed so fast!

Oh...man, Russia does not need IMF funds to run the country. Also Russian not depend on exports to USA, but Srilanka totally depend on exports to USA and EU. China and India so call good business partners but do the provide any factory/production jobs? They are looking at Srilanka ONLY for their exports.

So we should sacrifice our principles, particularly in situations where LTTE created mayham by killing thousands, because we 'depend' on USA for income? Where are your principles man?

I agree with you. I do not know the real position of India, but why large power India is trying to back USA when India knows very well that Srilanka fought an Indian war.

Why did you sacrifice your pricipals bending to IMF. Your whole country's economy is playing to IMF tune. Why you and some of your politicians do not want to recognize that?
Where are your principles man?

You have any proof of this? Besides, getting a loan under conditions is different from sacrificing our dignity.
