Why don't you talk to fellow sri lankan tamils and find out, for a change?
Or do you need us to talk to them and force the necessary reforms through your throats? Amercicans seem to be in a mood to do that! All they need is nod from Indians.

Guys, don't spend your energy worrying about what this resolution will do to India in the long run,
:)) Nothing will happen to India as You say cos India is under the jack boot of USA! Simple as that!
because this resolution is fcuking up SL's statusquo in both short, medium and long term! Focus you energy there! :))))))
When our close neighbour who is supposed to be our close friend is behaving like a RAT.. Is it true or not?
What is India's stand on the resolution against Sri Lanka..

Regardless of what happens on March 23rd, SL has probably one last window of opportunity in the next two to six months to bring genuine reforms that will adequately address the grievances of minorities in SL.
Here I am quoting yours and You said abt 'grievances of minorities in SL'..

Does the Americans have the power to do that? Tell me Y is that American doesn't do it to India regarding Kashmir, etc etc..
All they need is nod from Indians.

It is funny to read 2.50 deshapremies comments on the issue.
More they write more they show how desparate they are, how hopeless they are, how scared they are...
Now SF has become the biggest nightmare..

well Your comments are interesting, but I was talking about American policy towards sri lanka and not global american policy. There may be so many problems with global American policies but as sri lankans we should be more worried about how american policy affects us. we should know what to get from our friendly countries. Many people think American support for sri lanka is based on trincomalee harbour. this is an outdated old theory in 1950s during the cold war. But today it has become an outdated theory.
