Also, get rid of the racist TNA. Sinhalese people are very fair. Just look at Colombo. How many tamils live in peace with lots of money? If you go to the north and east you can see how much development is taking place. Also, what country release most of the prisoners so fast?

1. Racist TNA....why because they ask for the rights of the tamil people?

2. The Tamils in colombo are not colonists brought by the GOSL in buses and lorries and dumped there. They are living out of their money, luckily they have some one in each family to send dollars and pounds. Do you agree wellawatte and B'pitiya sinhala market vendors make huge profit from these tamils and also supply very good quality products.

3. Which prisoners? Those who were captured during the humanitarian operation?

Olive leaf is in the hands of the sinhalese and tamils are the victims /survivors and they should show their sincerity and truthfulness and honesty. By establishing sinhala authority in the N&E is certainly not showing Olive Leaf!

No but they have not shown any sympathy for thousands of sinhalese people killed by LTTE. They were supporting LTTE which is a racist outfit.

My point was that they live peacefully to suggest that we are very fair. NE would be the same if separatists leave that area alone.

Ada, Tamil coolie:

You had more rights in SriLanka than what you have in Austrlia.

Only thing you did not have in Sri Lanka was lot of money.

that would also be possible if you barbarians did not destroy Sri Lanka for 60 years.

In Australia, you contribute to the economy. In Sri Lanka, you sabotaged the economy.

Israeli war crimes on Palestinians UN ignored its own reports and resolutions?
By Latheef Farook

Why does the United Nations remains silent on its own report on Israeli war crimes on dehumanized and starving Palestinians in Gaza? Where are United States and its UNHCR resolution on Israeli war crimes? These are questions no one dare ask. Raising such questions means paying heavy price- be it UNHRC Commissioner Navi Pillay, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon or even US President Barack Obama-as former US President Bill Clinton paid his price in the form of Monica Lewinsky scandal when he confronted the Jews during his so called peace talks between Palestinians and Israel.... -Full Story- (LankaWeb - 17/03/12)

Quote 'Do any Sinhala Minister or a Deshapremie muther pcuker talk about Sinhala people driven out of North....??'Unquote

Diaspora spends million and milions to portray their cause(if any) and they are doing it bloody well. Did you notice the comment made by our Ex-President CBK, even if it is true, I was disgusted of her to have appeared and the comments she made in the clip. What I wanted from the forum was to understand the entire picture and not to take in piece by piece and quote things out of context but to discuss the whole subject matter.

Red Cross says, that there are over 20,000.Tamil Orphaned Children. Somewhere down the line they will grow up and will start to think and will ponder to know what happened to their parents.
Then what do you think will b the outcome?? Then your guess is as good as mine there..

That is why I asked ' Will there be a reconcilliation ever'.

Why can't our GOSL counter by producing a similar by doing full script movie for wolrd wide circulation the atrocites done by the LTTE. There are enough of films with the Govt. Film Unit just lying there taking is dust, that would help to compile a far better Clip than the ones Diaspora's. Our GOSL is so naive and no imagination whatsoever.

Informatively,People in some states in US and South America doesn't know where Sri Lanka is because they don't play 'Cricket'.

I hope you got my point.

.The Island: The second UK documentary made four specific allegations against the GoSL on the basis of what it called new evidence. The GoSL was accused of deliberately targeting the civilian population taking refuge in three separate no fire zones, denying them food and medicine, carrying out a full scale attack on NFZ in the guise of conducting hostage rescue operation and lastly executing those surrendering LTTE personnel and civilians. Could you explain the circumstances leading to the establishment of NFZs after the liberation of Kilinochchi in the first week of January 2009?

Defence Secretary: Having liberated Kilinochchi in the first week of January 2009, President Rajapaksa offered an opportunity for the LTTE to surrender. With the success at Kilinochchi, the military had the full control of the area west of A9, thereby the overland main supply route to Jaffna came under our control. Mullaitivu, too, was in our hands. The LTTE forced civilians to vacate their homes and move towards the northern Mullaitivu coast. We never established NFZs to accommodate civilians. Instead NFZ were declared to areas, where civilians moved to under duress. None of those human rights champions urged the LTTE to give up human shields, and accept defeat. Instead they gave the LTTE hope that a fresh lifeline could be arranged if it managed to hold on to their positions at any cost. A section of the media in Dec 2008/ early Jan. 2009 speculated that the LTTE retained powerful striking capability and access to Mullaitivu seas to bring in fresh supplies of arms, ammunition and equipment. The media suggested that the LTTE had in its reserve, the best fighting units under experienced commanders and the SLA was no match for them. The LTTE felt civilians could provide them the required cover until foreign elements intervened on its behalf.

.Defence Secretary: The documentary showed an undamaged trailer truck painted WFP on the background, at the scene of an alleged artillery attack. Since the army lost a stretch of road along the A9 north of Omanthai in June 1990, successive governments moved essential items, including medicine to Jaffna in ships. At an earlier phase of the conflict, the LTTE blew up a ship carrying medicine under ICRC flag to Kankesanthurai. Despite severe difficulties, Sri Lanka provided food and medicine to those living in LTTE-held areas. The global community cannot deny us that credit. Throughout the eelam war IV, we moved supplies to all areas, with the assistance of the international community. If we had decided to deny food to civilians, that WFP vehicle wouldn t have been there. The C4 can easily contact the WFP in Colombo or its headquarters overseas to get a firsthand account of the situation. The WFP received substantial assistance through embassies in Colombo to rush food convoys to Vanni east. The WFP played a critical role in moving supplies in spite of great difficulties. Once ground fighting made it impossible for food convoys to move overland, we launched a two-pronged relief operation to send food ships and evacuate those wounded civilians from Puthumathalan to Pulmoddai. Overland food convoys were terminated on Jan. 23, 2009. The C4 can get in touch with the ICRC and also the government of India regarding how India helped those being brought to Pulmoddai by the ICRC. A fully fledged Indian medical mission operated at Pulmoddai before being moved to Menik farm to provide relief to thousands of internally displaced persons. Although we believed even wounded LTTE cadres took advantage of this arrangement, we allowed all those wounded people to receive medical care.

In fact we involved the Colombo-based diplomatic community in the relief efforts. The UN, US and several missions knew exactly what was going on in the Vanni.

If Jayalalithaa et al had had an iota of compassion for the war victims of Sri Lanka, they should have helped those unfortunate people by building a few houses or sending some dry rations. They haven't even donated a measure of rice

build homes for SIN-hala colonialisation ??

she is now bashing Sri Lanka full time to distract her voters' attention from their burning problems and her broken promises
