NEw airport and ports should have been private projects with tax breaks.

Instead highly lucrative projects are subsidized and are given to private owners.

They hired those who are in business, they have distribution channels. Masters with their diplomatic passports bring drugs to Srilanka without custom check. This is the secret that evrybody in customs know.


So, the kudu business is also with the blessings of the govt.

Thatis why there is no program called Kudata - thitha.

govt provides subsidized oil to the private power producers.

Then that power is provided back to the consumer at a premium price.

So, the public is screwed up twice and the private owners get rich at the expense of the country. Politicians also get rich because these private owners should be rewarding the politicians handsomely.


UPFA created this power mafia from CBK time.
