The General by courting the sponsorship of the TNA has endorsed their claim to be the sole representatives of the Tamil speaking people.
On the other hand, the TNA MPs who have decided to back General Fonseka have given the lie to the retired General s claim that he alone must be given the sole credit for eradicating LTTE terrorism.
They know fully well that without the political leadership given by given by President Rajapaksa, the LTTE would still be around.
It s a devious way of getting even for the killing of their Leader and the eradication of the terrorists they represented.
They know that the General s war effort against the LTTE would have been frustrated as happened to Generals Kobbekaduwa and Wimalaratne if not for the political leadership of the President and the Defence Secretary.
He should know, because Col. Gotabhaya and he were comrades-in-arms during the aborted Vadamaracchi offensive.

Read it back again! If not for a POLITICAL leadership and his/her decisions, how come a military commander could execute a war against the enemy???
What do You want to say?? Do You want to say that it was Sf who single handedly decided and executed the war even without getting the orders from MR???
Where did You get your education.. I don't think You were educated in Sri Lanka!
