Police sources said that there was political influence and pressures exerted on the Police to stop the investigations which was also the reason for the delay in the arrests.
This is one of the major problem in Srilanka. Bad thing is rather than correcting the problem, GOSL leaders are protecting criminals. |

Forget about 13+ the govt has not implimented 13 which has been a part of the Sri Lankan Constitution since 1987.
In August 1987, the Sri Lankan Parliament passed the 13th Amendment to the Constitution and the ancillary Provincial Councils Act. The Sri Lankan Government declared that the enactment of these laws fulfilled the promises made in the Accord, to 'devolve power' on the Tamil people. |

What ever it is, it is PAST.
I say the same thing as AnuD. MR.R , GOTA and SF saved the country. But you can not use it to fool Srilankans forever.

Sun goat VP prevented from anything happening to tamils. It was his fault. Now diaspora are screwing up tamils again. |
