Sri Lanka is very good at elaborating only the what is positive.
What are the negative consequences of this
Drug menace, prostitution, crimes, Families suffering because of gambling addicts.....
Don't say only the tourists are visiting these Casinos.
Live a fraudulent life. |

Don't say only the tourists are visiting these Casinos.
Sri Lankans who can afford to go to a casinos can afford to go to Thailand, Singapore or even Las Vegas if the are banned in Sri Lanka. Why not Sri Lanka getting that money too?

A Chinese woman who pleaded guilty to loitering on a street in Kollupitiya at night in a way to lure people was ordered to pay a fine of Rs.10 by a Colombo Court.
The woman was arrested by Kollupitiya police while she was wandering near the Sea Avenue in Kollupitiya at night. The Kollupitiya police further charged that when she was arrested by police she was unable to give a valid answer to the charges of loitering in a public place. Police further charged that the accused had committed a punishable offence which comes under section 3(B) of the Vagrancy Ordinance. After taking into consideration the provisions of the act, Magistrate Kanishka Wijeratne ordered her to pay a fine of Rs.10. |

The Fine may be a percentage she charges from the client in rurees. :))
Roshan, I am sure the prostitutes in USA charge you in US$$$$ not rupees.

Meanwhile, separately in Moratuwa a 13 year old girl was reported to have been raped by her father, the police said today.
The suspect is evading arrest.
