Sri Lankan minister accuses Western nations of trying to create a Kosovo situation in Sri Lanka
Weerawansa addressing a felicitation ceremony for athletes from Dambulla has said the international community wrested power of Kosovo after separating the nation from Serbia and bringing war crimes charges against former Kosovo President Milosevic.
He has noted that Kosovo was now under the control of the Western nations and the country is being ruled by lackeys of the Western countries.
He has pointed out that the US tried to get hold of Kosovo since it was an East European country that is rich in oil and Sri Lanka was now facing a similar threat from the US.
West wants regime change in SL-Tamara
Sri Lanka s ambassador and Permanent Representatives to the UN in Geneva Tamara Kunanayakam slamming the west said that the Western countries want only a regime change in Sri Lanka.
Their real objective is regime change ! Many Ambassadors in Geneva have been telling me that this is also what they want to achieve in Sri Lanka, so we take it very seriously

these expert engineers of CEB don't understand a simple laws of physics about energy.:)

Firstly , read it carefully, not me,
our Ministry of P&E , and CEB with Japanese assistance are going to start a study, it is not just 1 or 2 days work as you think.
For layman , may feel it is just a small task,
but for a proper study, Planning Engineers, Energy Economists, Hydro experts, geologists, Hydrologists etc need to study it jointly,
the proposed study will start middle of this year and it will take 4 to 6 months. Then I can give you the results of the study.

How could CEB generate cheaper power by pumping the water released from the turbine chamber back to the reservoir ?
Because of in-efficiencies it would cost more to pump the water back than it generates.

if you know the answers for the questions I asked you will not ask me that silly question.
In our terminology we dont have terms like 'turbine chamber ' or
and also we dont pump from such places.
At least if you know the operational restrictions associated with Thermal power plants9again coal & nuclaer different) you will not asked me that silly question.

Usually, they are going around circles or insulting that person who asked.

You better ask where are AnuD, Damed and Roshan. When some thing good about Srilanka, they either can't hear it or can't understand and keeping their mouth shut. Something negative, they are here with full mouths with filthy words. |
