OK lets discuss in a freindly manner
but before that you need to read things carefully and understand.
You said you are studying pumped storage thingy, So what is your findings?
Firstly , read it carefully, not me,
our Ministry of P&E , and CEB with Japanese assistance are going to start a study, it is not just 1 or 2 days work as you think.
For layman , may feel it is just a small task,
but for a proper study, Planning Engineers, Energy Economists, Hydro experts, geologists, Hydrologists etc need to study it jointly,
the proposed study will start middle of this year and it will take 4 to 6 months. Then I can give you the results of the study.
Can pumping water using hydro power or thermal power save? If so how?
yes I can answer this, very simple but before that just tell me how you undrstand the following terms , because if you dont know these, there is no point I am wasting my time.
i. what do you expect from PS plants, energy savings or operational flexibility? or both
ii .what is undispatchable energy and when and where do you come across that ?
iii what is unserved Energy?
iv. what is our daily peak energy demand and how do we meet that at present
v. difference between power & Energy
Dont run to Wkpd and cut and paste , just tell me how you undertansd those, if so I can explain you how Pumped storage works.then we will continue the discussion.
