JHU s Ven. Athuraliye Ratana Thero had criticized the recent decisions taken by the government and that his party could not honor the collective responsibility agreement for decisions taken by various individuals.

He has said the JHU protested against the fuel price hike.

Ministers Sarath Kumara Gunaratne, Mahinda Amaraweera and

Champika Ranawaka have complained that they are unable to even visit their constituencies due to the fuel price hike and the resultant price increases.
