Fonsekas will never seek forgiveness from Rajapaksas says Anoma

Anoma Fonseka said yesterday that she would not seek pardon on behalf of her imprisoned husband, former Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka, who is currently serving multiple sentences.
She, told The Island that President Mahinda Rajapaksa was under intense international pressure to release Sarath Fonseka and was looking for an exit mechanism by getting prominent people in the government, including his son Namal, to issue various statements, which at times were contradictory.
`There was no need to seek forgiveness for something a person did not do. Neither I, my husband or children will go begging to the Rajapaksas,` she said adding that her daughter Apsara was lobbying worldwide for her fathers release and it had paid dividends.
Instead of honouring the General, who had successfully led the war effort against the LTTE, he has been thrown into jail like a common criminal, she observed.
Anoma, said that the only `wrong` if it could be described as such, was her husband s decision to challenge Mahinda Rajapaksa for the presidency.

| The Rajapaksas will NEVER release SF from prison even after he serves his sentence/s. They will 'see to it' that SF stays imprisoned for as long as they are in power or until SF is dead, which ever occurs first! |

LOL! She can beg the WEST & the world, and that is not a shame.. but cannot just follow the simple procedure to get her husband released within the Lankan system! |

This is what Sinthaka wrote in the previous thread.
The problem is not mihin air. the problem is MR has stuffed illiterate cronies to head almost every institution in govt...mihin air, sri lankan, CEB, Petroleum, CB, foreign ministry, sports, education, trade. now the illiterate stooges have run them to the ground.
