Grandfather, grandson electrocuted

A 60-year-old man and his seven-year-old grandson were electrocuted in Wedamulla, Kothmale this evening when they were attempting to trap wild animals that frequented their vegetable farm, police said.
Nuwara Eliya Divisional Secretary Kumarasiri de Silva told the Daily Mirror last night that according to initial reports that the grandson was helping his grandfather at the time of the incident.
Both bodies are lying at the Nuwara Eliya hospital pending an inquest.
