I have done it all for my country. When they wanted me to keep wickets in a Test Match, I did that. When they wanted me to open in a Test Match, I did that. Then when they wanted me to go back to number six, I did that. When everyone resigned and when they asked me whether I could captain, I did that. I don't care about losing the captaincy. I have done it all for my country.'

Bonggo,
Poor Dilshan.
To his defence, overall the team didn't do well over the past few months. But Dilshan failed as a captain to lead by example. He was clueless most of the time and let emotions take over him.
Anyway, a bit sad for him, but he doesn't have the qualities to lead the team and team deserves a better captain. |

UVR,
Dilshan's contribution to team was tremendous but the selectors failed him by giving the captain's position. His performance too went down with the captaincy.
Our Cricket Board is very good though. They will find Dilshan as a sace goat. |

UVR,
Sanga had some excellent starts but did not capitalise on that, simply gifted his wickets.
Mahela has done a good job though, by sitting out. Tuththirimal did what Mahela would have done in the 4th game anyway. |
