Great Job... Now Afsal Guru & Kasab would be relaxed. They have got a new hope... They can live happily for 20 more years. This judgement did give all terrorist not only confidence but boost. Where were these judges when the trail of Dear Rajiv's assasination was going on. If they feel that the trial was prolonged they should have raised their tone then & there. I not here to support DEATH penalty, but whatelse you will do if the terrorists are not changing their mind set & keep attacking us?. There should be STRONG punishment & should be given based on a quick trial.
Will Kasab also be let off similarly

Using the same logic Kasab will also never be hanged. because the president is going to take ages to resolve his plea whenever it comes... Is the cong govt hand in glove in this and can we citizens even think that if one of our family members is murdered the same way are we going to let him off easily just because some President somewhere delays his/her decission. I think it is high time they should be hanged to death and so Mr Jethmalani should be punhished for wasting the time of the court.....
Very unfortunate

So that means any murderer can hire lawyers who can stretch on their trial for years and then file a petition. Of course the judiciary system needs further strengthening but that doesn't mean the murders could walk freely on the streets with the support of their respective political leaders. It is very unfortunate that the political people influence the judgments. The judiciary system MUST be very strong in a democratic nation otherwise the exploitation of the democracy would become a practice which is what India is struggling with. |
